A Comparative Study On Recreational Greenway Construction And Tourism Development Between China And America

Along with our country move forward for the construction of ecological civilization, recreational greenway is set to become a beautification project and infrastructure that each big city compete to build in domestic. It can not only provide people a variety of leisure and entertainment and improve the regional ecological environment, but also can beautify the city image and promote the sustainable development of regional tourism economy. At present, although the construction of recreational greenway like a raging fire in China, but there are many problems to be solved. If these problems do not pay attention to, the results will seriously hinder the healthy and rapid development of recreational greenway and related tourism in our country.This paper is based on the related literature review for theory basis. Through the comparative analysis on the status of recreational greenway and tourism development between China and America, it makes important enlightenment in development and construction, so as to provide the countermeasures to solve the present stage problems of the recreational greenways and tourism development, and promote the sustainable development of recreational greenway construction and tourism development for our country.This paper consists of four parts. First of all, this article systematically reviewed the related concept and theory of recreational greenway construction and tourism development, thus providing a theoretical basis for the practical research.Secondly, this article analyzes the important characteristics of development and construction of recreational greenway and tourism of America. It turns out that America formed multilevel greenway construction pattern, specialized legal mechanism, diversified financing channel and management mode in the process of recreational greenway construction. It focuses on the innovation of development model and comprehensive utilization of tourism resources in the aspects of greenway development. Third, according to the history and present situation of recreational greenway development in China, this article analyzes and reflects the existing problems of construction and development such as the low standard ofconstruction quality, inadequate facilities, and the lack of management standard,education connotation and tourism development. On the surface, these problems does not seem to be serious, but in essence it reflects that because of the greenway construction is too fast at present stage in our country, leading to the system construction seriously lagging behind the development of practice. Therefore, it is urgent to develop a more scientific and reasonable construction measures.Finally, through the comparison of history and current situation of recreational greenway and tourism development between China and America, this article summarizes the successful experience for our reference. By means of integrated refining, this article summarizes that our country should establish the standardization of the greenway construction mechanism to protect sustainable development, and establish market-oriented greenway management mode to promote scientific operations, and establish innovative greenway tourism function to promote tourism development.
