The Research On The Integrative Development Between Producer Services And Manufacturing

With the arrival of knowledge economy and the gradual changing of the state of market division in "industrial economy", industrial integration had become the new trend. Combined with the rapid development of China’s economy and the fully upgrading of the structure of manufacturing structure and the rapid development of producer services, the trend of manufacturing and producer services integration is increasingly evident, both of which have becoming the accelerator of China’s economic restructuring, industrial restructuring and upgrading accelerator. According to this, it is of great value to study the state and the way of integration between producer services and manufacturing.The first part is literature review which summarizing the study concerning the relationship between the producer services and manufacturing industry. Second part is about the analysis of the relevant mechanism of the integration between producer services and manufacturing. In this part, we elaborate the social division of labor theory, transaction cost theory and industrial integration theory in purpose of lay a solid theoretical foundation for producer services and manufacturing industry. By using the theory of industrial convergence, this paper analyzed the mechanism of producer services and manufacturing integration from the perspective of the value added chain theory. We wonder why and how the integration of producer services and manufacturing industry come about, and what the follow-up effect is. Then, based on the reality foundation and the actual requirement of the development between producer services and manufacturing industry, we take a look at the status quo and the developing tendency of this integration. We use input-output method to analyze the integration between producer services and manufacturing industry. We also measure the correlation degree between the two industries with the indexes of the rate of the intermediate input and the rate of the intermediate need. The results of input-output analysis suggest that there exist integration between two industries but the degree of which is not so strong, so we should keep on doing things to prompt it. Furthermore, by using the data of 30 provinces(except Tibet) from 2005 to 2012 and the principal component analysis to measure the actual development of producer services and manufacturing industry. Based on the using of DEA analysis we calculated the ideal state of development of producer services at a given level of manufacturing development and the desired state of development of the manufacturing sector in the established levels of productive service industry, and then calculate the coefficient of integration and manufacturing services service industry fusion coefficient, using the coordinated development factor judgment method for constructing the producer services and manufacturing integration coefficient various regions in China. The results showed that there exist unbalance between the path of integration of producer services and so it is to spatial issues. Finally, we prompt policy recommendations such as concerning the development of producer services and manufacturing integration. The policy recommendations include improving the mechanism of the integration and development of sound macroeconomic policy environment system, promoting the industrial chain to upgrade and strengthening regional collaboration and cultivating professional talents.
