Ethics Vision Of The Low Carbon Economy Value And Path Analysis

Low-carbon economy is defined as an economic development model featuring lowenergy consumption, low pollution and low discharge; in some ways, low-carboneconomy has shattered the belief that traditional social economic development and theenvironmental ecological system could not co-exist harmoniously; it pursues theharmony of both economic growth and social development, utilization of resources andecological protection, the realization of the sustainable development of social economy,as well as the transformation of the human civilization ecosystem. At the same time, inorder to reveal the core values and practical guidelines, as well as providing valuableguidance to the development of low-carbon economy, theoretical analysis from anaxiological view is needed in addition to empirical researches.It is important to analyze and study the ethical problems caused by low-carboneconomy from the ethics point of view, interpret the necessity, urgency and feasibility ofChina developing low carbon economy, and make clear the basic principles to beobeyed in developing low carbon economy.This article examines the development model of low-carbon economy from anethical point of view. Through reflection on ethical values of the development oflow-carbon economy, we believe the value concept of developing low carbon economycontains the appeal of utilizing efficiently and reasonably resources from theperspective of production ethics, balancing the improvement of eco system and thedevelopment of economic society from the perspective of eco-ethics, realizing the goodmanagement of governmental governing approaches and developing strategies from theperspective of management ethics and developing citizen’s low carbon life awarenessfrom the perspective of consumption ethics.We believe studying low-carbon economy from the perspective of ethics not onlycontributes to the formation of the theoretical basis of its development, but also hasimportant practical significance in the strengthening of the building of ecological ethicsand the development of people’s low-carbon awareness, which would graduallytransform people’s economic and social life to one that is beneficial to low-carbon economy.
