Study On Development Of Agro-tourism In Qiaokou Town

With the rapid development of economy and urbanization, and with the increasing improvement of material life of our people, our nation has boomed the development of leisure agriculture, especially in Hunan that leads the progress. The rising of leisure agriculture is benefit for the contribution of new socialist countryside, promoting the prosperous of rural area, accelerating the transition of surplus labor and income of the peasants, In the meantime, it meets the needs of citizen in urban who are longing for nature.The thesis firstly states the relative research on leisure agriculture, with a definition of the leisure agriculture and analysis of the basic theory related. Secondly, analyzes the development of QiaoKou leisure agriculture using SWOT to get some problems existing in QiaoKou through market research. The problems include:the backward tourist facilities, lack of tourist marketing, lack of brand awareness, lack of standardization of management, lack of culture digging etc. At last, the thesis promotes some practical strategies such as making scientific plans, perfecting basic facilities, enhancing the second and the third industrial development, lengthening the chain of agricultural industry, bringing in strong corporation, strengthening regional cooperation and exploiting the advantages of leisure tourism.
