The present production situation of citrus has a great gap between Xiang xi autonomous prefecture and some other developed areas on the cultivation, quality safety, storage, processing and logistics. As a result, such gap has become a bottleneck which restricts the development of citrus industry. This study analyzes the current situation of citrus’s cultivation, quality and safety, storage and processing in Xiang xi autonomous prefecture through different ways including issuing survey, analyzing relative data and profile comprehensively and systematically, visiting production line and processing industries and communicating with farmers except for on the basis of relative domestic and foreign research, This study also analyzes the main problems of current situation and gives the according solutionIn2013, the cultivated area of the citrus in Xiang xi autonomous prefecture is up to1.077million mu and its annual production and output value is632200tons, and1.3866billion yuan. Firstly, Completed the citrus variety improvement area of12000mus and low yield perform an area of200000mus. Then, the construction of citrus is moving gradually towards to standardization, including setting up over40standardized citrus garden, demonstration garden and another106Citrus professional cooperatives, meanwhile, the certification of quality and safety of citrus has also achieved new progress, including applying for the " Xiang xi ponkan "," LuXi ponkan " geographical indication certification successfully and establishing the traceability system of quality and safety At the same time, the scale of processing enterprises gradually larger. Xiang xi has14leading processing enterprises. For another, The potential of citrus’internalize processing is large. According to investigation,80%of citrus in the prefecture is used to be marketed freshly for foreign and13%of them is for domestic. However, only7%of citrus is marketed for deep processing and its wastes utilization rate is almost zero. On the other hand, the logistics market in Xiang xi autonomous prefecture is standardized gradually. The government promoted the standardization construction in132urban and rural farmers’ markets all of the prefecture, by Integrating300million Yuan and it make the logistics network structure in this prefecture was formed basically.The processing of citrus production had a series of problems including Suitable for processing small variety, the low degree of Good varieties, the low planting capital investment, the aging farmers structure is not reasonable. The difficulty of the Plant diseases and insect pests control is high, Quality and safety management department is difficult to small farmers, The management of citrus orchard is becoming more and more extensive. Meanwhile, some other factors, like lagging fresh-keeping facilities, post-processing technology, low intensive processing rate; weak logistics infrastructure, slow process of production and marketing integration, lagging logistics informationization level and lacking professional knowledge are also charged This paper puts forward the following countermeasures on the problems above.1, In term of cultivation. Firstly, optimizing the structure of varieties, breeding and introducing new varieties, Using projects of Citrus variety improvement and low yield orange orchard renovation to carrying forward, Promoting intensification processing and fresh marketing to work together should be applied Secondly, speeding up the orange ear nursery construction and guaranteeing the purity and quality of citrus scion should be noted; Thirdly, enhancing investment in standardization and promoting citrus standard unification is also necessary; Fourthly, encouraging the development of farmer cooperative organization, Promote stable industry continues to advance.2, So far as quality and safety. The first thing is to enhance the key technology of the preventing the attaching of disease and pest and then to control such diseases and pests comprehensively and greenly; The next is to Perfect the small farmers of dynamic regulatory mechanism, realizes the citrus production and sales of each link of supervision; Thirdly, it is need to strengthen the management of citrus garden environment and to establish the technology of controlling production environment which can ensure its safety.3, In terms of storage and processing. One thing is to speed up the storage and processing facilities, which means raise the level of mechanization of commercialization and intensive processing through the whole "farm to fork" process; The other is to, scientific storage and processing technology based on optimum storage and processing conditions which different varieties requires. Furthermore, it is need to improve the intensive processing capacity and then to enhance the added value of the citrus. 4, So far as logistics industry. Secondly, accelerating the integration process of production and marketing should be applied, it is need to complete the citrus circulation system plan and to expand agricultural logistics main body; Meanwhile, promoting logistics information and the realization of the traceability mechanism is necessary; Furthermore, establishing a pool of logistics talent, strengthening the cultivation and reserve of such talents should be noted. It will accelerate the development of logistics industry of citrus in Xiang xi autonomous prefecture.
