The period from the establishment of People’s Republic of China in 1949 to the outbreak of Cultural Revolution in 1966, is an important stage of overall transition in China.To cope with the difficult domestic and foreign environment and develop our national economy,Chinese Communist Party and government devoted to not only enforce the Socialism but also take on a large-scale social transformation. The reformation of official document occurred with the advancing social stability and transition,bringing many new changes to the structure of official document.The establishment of the new China marks the fundamental transformation of the official document from serving for the minority exploiting class to serving for the majority people,which makes significance in the history of official document.During 17 years after the foundation of China, the official document had been evolved and advanced profoundly based on the changing situation.lt also had its own specific characteristics besides general characteristic.Many features of feudalism and surving feudal influences were eliminated in the settings of record type,forms,writing style and circulation system.Meanwhile,a series of new changes in writing rules and system were established,and Marxist writing style had been developed. A new system of official document which adapted to the new socialist regime was established progressively. The new pattern of Chinese modern official document began to open up,because of not only a historical choice of official document itself,but also the change of time,political culture and demonstration of leaders.The evolvement track of official document during this period reflects its modernization transition in the early days of new China. The system and experience lay a foundation and provide reference for making the paperwork into a more standard and scientific way,and speed modernization progress of Chinese official document.Although historical limitations and chronic illness in politics are inevitalbe,its development also makes significance in the history of Chinese document activity and contributes to the modernising trends of official document to some extent. |
