A Research About Kazakhstan Transportation Management System

As the fast development of globalization,countries around the world emphasize on economy building.As for the international trade or the domestic economy, transportation becomes more and more important. In the meantime,in terms of vast transportation network, how to manage it smoothly to create maximum efficiency is becoming crucial problem. At some level, transportation management system is directly affecting every aspect of development of a nation. Without a fine transportation management system, a nation can hardly achieve stable development of the economy.After independent from Soviet Union, the country focused on building of transportation all over again.Transportation of Kazakhstan has developed unprecedentedly. This brings many problems of management which restricts the further development of economy as well as the society. Nowadays Traffic Management and Transportation Department is responsible for managing and planning of transportation system throughout the country. Government capability of converting decentralized management of transportation to centralized management is an important index of a nation or region’s universal transportation management standard. Because of the restriction in some aspects, such as planning, policy, management and technological support, Kazakhstan’s transportation management model is a distributed one. In the transportation management system, the job description between central, provincial and local government is not clear. This becomes the main reason to restrict the development.Kazakhstan has many difficulties to overcome. In this essay, I will discuss learning from developed countries their advanced management skills and experience to improve the current management system of Kazakhstan’s transportation. Thus, this essay is significant to study about how to revolutionize Kazakhstan’s transportation management system.
