As an economic space, the world or a country is a complex system of tangible regions and intangible interactions of human behaviors. It has systematically organized various flows such as transport flow, mobility flow, trade flow and telecommunication flow. All these flows make regions interact and impact with each other, moreover lead an economic space to present a rational structure in a variable manner. So, the connectivity of flows and networks, the uneven development of sub-units and the migration of influential regions have always been hot topics of economic geography for many decades. From the view of complexity science, by utilizing the mature theory and methodology in complex network, I analyze the asymmetric information flow between economic spaces; moreover investigate the information dominance of each economic space. As a result, several productions of good theoretical values and contributions are given as follows:(1) In this paper, based on the annual GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in 27 Chinese provinces and autonomous regions, the asymmetric economic information flows between different regions are calculated by the symbolic transfer entropy method and corresponding economic information flow networks are built over two periods, one is before the reform and opening up policy, the other is after that. By analyzing such networks, the obtained results are as follows. First, before the policy, balanced development strategy weakens or cuts off the ties between adjacent areas, resulting in a slow regional economic development, does not conform to the law of scientific development. Second, with introducing market mechanisms, and promoting the reform and opening up policy, increasing economic activities have gradually shifted from coast to inland of China over Period Ⅱ. Last but not least, there has a dramatic alternation of the influential centers that Jilin, Beijing and Jiangsu become new influential centers. Especially, at Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolis circle Beijing becomes an influential center after the policy.(2) In this paper, based on the 79 stocks of corresponding listed companies in Jiangsu, the non-liner relationship between companies are calculated and the economic information dominant companies are investigated by constructing and analyzing directed and weighted networks over the periods of the global financial crisis. The obtained results are shown as follows:the crisis blocked the normal information flowing between listed companies, had a huge impact on export industries located south and Mid Jiangsu. Over the latter period of the crisis, the adjustment of national macroeconomic policy making the field of infrastructure and public utilities play important roles in the information exchanging of listed companies, especially, the influence of bio-pharmaceutical industry increased significantly over this period. All the facts obtained here are of great significance to help us comprehend the variation of economic information between regions and government make scientific economy policies to coordinate, accelerate and sustain the development of Chinese economy. Besides, they have a reference to the economic developments of other countries to a certain extent.
