Under the deepening of economic globalization and the background of more specialized international division of labor, in order to stand in the international market, enhance business performances, carry out the strategy of going global further, Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises have accelerated the pace of internationalization, in order to allocate global resources, trying to boost their international competitiveness. In this situation, the internationalization of Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises affecting business performances have become a focus of scholars attention. In order to demonstrate the internationalization of Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises impacting business performance, the paper makes the final conclusions and suggestions according to theoretical analysis between Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises and business performances, the summary of the internationalization of Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises from the perspective of foreign trade and foreign investment. Besides, the paper used the Panel Data Model to prove it and got the final conclusions.Conclusion: In general, the internationalization of Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises is in the low-level stage, mainly depending on the import and export trade. The overall business performances are poor. Degree of internationalization, firm size, debt ratio, profitability, experience of internationalization are all the factors affecting the business performances. Degree of internationalization, profitability and experience of internationalization have showed a positive correlation with business performances. But firm size, debt ratio have showed a negative correlation with business performances. The paper show that the internationalization of Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises is helpful to improve the business performances.Suggestions: From enterprises’ perspective, Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises should encourage internationalization. But most Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises should choose to trade as the form of internationalization, a few large domestic iron and steel enterprises can choose the high-level international pattern. Such as setting up overseas factories. Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises had better choose the way of international expansion stages according to their own conditions. It is also necessary to focus on accumulating international experience accumulated excellent talents. From the government’s point of view, the government should play the role of a good comprehensive guide, supporter and regulator to provide preferential policies, funds, information in the overseas market and build an early warning mechanism for the internationalization of Chinese Iron and Steel Enterprises.
