The Influence Of Agricultural Enterprise Management On Peasant Households’ Income Increase In Jinzhong City

Along with the acceleration of industrialization, information technology, urbanization and agricultural modernization process, the country is becoming more and more concerned about the "Three Rural Issues". The Core of "three rural issue" is the issue of farmers and the core of the farmers is the issue of income. Increasing farmers’ income has a great significance for building a moderately prosperous society.An effective way to increase farmers’ income is to achieve agricultural enterprise management. As a "second leap "after the household contract responsibility system, the agricultural enterprise management is another innovative rural economic system reform in China’s rural areas.Jinzhong City, one of the three modern agriculture demonstration areas in Shanxi Province, has a variety of new farming systems, especially the agricultural cooperatives which is developing very fast. So in this paper, we take Jinzhong City as an example to find out the influence of agricultural enterprise management to farmers’income. This article describes the operating status of Jinzhong City Agricultural Commercialization, explores the problems of agricultural enterprise in terms of capital, talent, technology, etc, and constructs the measurement index system of agricultural enterprise level in the from of scale, technology, efficiency, market, structure, etc. The result shows that the level of agricultural enterprise in Jinzhong City has been improving. Rural per capita income is 7768 yuan in 2010 and we aim to reach 15536 yuan in 2020. Through the investigation of 100 farmers in Jinzhong City in aspects of the basic characteristics of the head of household, the basic situation of farmers planting, agricultural sales channels, household income during the seven years from 2008 to 2013, I make a comparison of rural per capita income before and after they join co-operatives from the horizontal and vertical, and I also compare the rural per capita 1 income who join co-operatives with that who do not join co-operatives, predicting if the income will reach 15536, finding out the impact of agricultural enterprise management on household income,and the result shows that the farmers who participate in agricultural enterprise management, improve crop yields, reduce costs, change the mode of operation, and most importantly increase their income. I can predict that the per capita income of farmers who join co-operatives in 2020 is far beyond the target, while those who do not join co-operatives may mot reach the target, which will encourage the later to join co-operatives.Based on the conclusions above, in order to increase the farmers’ income, I recommend the government to improve the rural financial system increasing financial support, to promote urbanization transferring agricultural labor in many ways, to perfect the profit mechanism between farmers and business entities, and expand business scale, to develop science and technology, and strengthen the agricultural extension system construction.
