With the rapid development of China’s wind power industry and the increasing installed capacity of wind generator, the market of China’s wind turbine after-sale operation and maintenance services is also expanding. Driven by the interests of the market, there have been various types of wind power operation and maintenance services enterprises, and the competition between the enterprises is increasingly fierce. The key point of wind power operation and maintenance services is to provide timely maintenance services, and this services need a reliable supply of spare parts, and the reliable supply of the spare parts depends on the spare parts’ reasonable reserve, so the reserve management of spare parts become very important in the process of improving enterprise ability of operation and maintenance services.Company A is not only a wind power equipment research and development enterprises, but also provide professional operation and maintenance services. With the expansion of company A’s market share, the problem of company A’s spare parts management is becoming more and more serious, and the problem of core spare parts management is the most prominent.This paper selects1.5MW wind turbine generator as a research core spare parts because it is the most important part of a wind generating set. First of all, paper built the life distribution model of1.5MW wind turbine generator through the collection, sorting and analyzing the data of maintenance record. Then, paper use the Monte-Carlo simulation to calculate normal demand of1.5MW wind turbine generator from2011to2013on the basis of life distribution model. Second, paper build the linear regression model of normal demand and practical demand of1.5MW wind turbine generator through the analysis of the historical demand data and calculate the practical demand of1.5MW wind turbine generator from2011to2013. Finally, on the basis of practical demand, paper determine the reserves of1.5MW wind turbine generator from2011to2013combined with the other factors that influence the reserves. This paper’s research not only can guide company A how to manage core spare parts reserve, but also supply some help to improve its competitiveness of the operation and maintenance services.
