The whole process of management consulting project is a complex process of knowledge integration. In each phase of the consulting project, the consulting service supplier needs to collect and integrate all sorts of knowledge to solve the various problems. The knowledge always comes from not only the project team itself, but also from the external, even across the borders of organizations, besides the knowledge is often related to multiple domains. For the completion of the consulting project, and to guarantee the collection and integration of knowledge, it needs to deeply understand the knowledge activities across the whole lifecycle of consulting projects, and finally a methodology of knowledge integration will be proposed. This dissertation first analyzes the knowledge activities during the whole process of management consulting project with the help of knowledge story theory, then classifies all the knowledge involved in the consulting project, consequently, constitutes the knowledge maps. Second, based on the knowledge maps, this dissertation applies methodology of ontology constitution to set up models of domain knowledge, management consulting project process and context. And it has also studied on the integration of all the models to support the completion of management consulting projects. Third, based on all the above, a prototype system has been developed and been put into practice of a management consulting project to offer knowledge support. A questionnaire has been conducted to investigate the performance of this prototype system. The result shows that it has a certain positive influence on the completion of this management consulting project.
