After reform and opening up, Shanxi rapidly achieve social and economicdevelopment, improve people’s lives, but there are many problems at the same time, inwhich the income gap is particularly serious. The income gap in the industry wage gapis paid attention to by all sectors of the community in recent years, scholars at home andabroad also put forward related theory and policy. But most of the scholars research onthe study of industry income gap in the specification study and national study more, inthe empirical study and provincial study less, especially starting from wage which is themain part of income is in less research. Shanxi Province is a coal rich province of China,in which the income gap has shown a trend of polarization and the industry wage gaphas shown a widening trend, so it is urgent to solve the problem of industry wage gap.This article mainly from the industrial wages of Shanxi Province for the study of theincome gap in Shanxi Province. Shanxi industry wage differentials reflects the incomegap situation in Shanxi, at the same time provides effective suggestions to solve theproblem of Shanxi industry wage differentials.This paper adopts the methods of literature analysis, quantitative analysis,empirical analysis, qualitative analysis and normative analysis, firstly the concepts andtheories of industry wage differentials are elaborated, through analyzing the averagewage of workers in various industries, the industry average wage level ranking, theindustry average wage gap condition, the industry average wage gap between sectors ofdifferent ownership status, it is concluded that the present situation of the wage gapindustry in Shanxi Province is widening, secondly using the new creation value ofwages accounted, labor productivity and industry monopoly respectively judge thatindustry wage gap exists the unreasonable place, thirdly using panel model whichindicates that the different factors affecting industry wage gap to conclude the industrywage gap in Shanxi Province is not reasonable, finally based on this advances thecorresponding countermeasures and suggestions: deepening the reform of state-ownedenterprises, break industry monopoly; reduce the labor productivity gap betweenindustries; rational allocation of human capital; perfect the system of wage gap relatedindustry. This article provides theoretical complement and empirical support for furtherstudy in Shanxi industry wage gap, but also provides favorable conditions for grasping Shanxi income gap problem from the macro.Through in-depth analysis of Shanxi province income gap from the wage level,draw the industry wage gap is widening in Shanxi Province, which makes the incomegap situation more clear. Through the judgment of unreasonable situation of Shanxiprovince industry wage gap and then analyzing the reasons for the existence of theirrational also more targeted, and based on this, advancing the countermeasures andsuggestions to solve the problem of Shanxi Province industry wage gap is moreoperational. This paper is to improve the unreasonable situation of Shanxi Provinceindustry wage gap, solve the problem of income gap in Shanxi Province and provideimportant reference value for promoting the comprehensive and healthy development ofsocial and economic in Shanxi Province.
