Study On The Relationship Between Industrialization And Urbanization Of Jitin Province

At present, China focus on two task of promoting the development of economy andsociety: industrialization and urbanization. Industrialization is the main reason of thedevelopment of urbanization；urbanization is the internal driving force to accelerate theprocess of industrialization. The relationship between the two is inseparable. The importantfactors to influence the development of social economy is the speed and quality of theindustry, and as a symbol of the planned economy of the product--the old industrial base ofJilin Province, also has a crucial impact on the two important factors in Jilin Province, andthe industrialization and urbanization development path. Due to reasons of historydevelopment, joint development of industrialization and urbanization in Jilin province ismutual adaptation, is able to form the benign interaction, which plays a key role in therevitalization of the old industrial base of the northeast. To seek new economic point ofgrowth, to vigorously promote the development of economy and society in Jilin Province,and to reference the future research and development is the main objective to seek therelationship between industrialization and urbanization in Jilin province.In this paper, through a comprehensive measure system and regional comparativeanalysis, Jilin Province has the level of industrialization in the late stage of industrialization,and its industrialization level and urbanization level is in the middle level of the country’s31provinces. But according to a few indicators of the industrialization and the urbanizationcomprehensive measure, as most of the indicators are in steady state, the industrializationand urbanization in Jilin province will continue to advance in the next period of time. Toverify the relationship between industrialization and urbanization by using the Grangercausality test draws the conclusion that the industrialization to promote the role ofurbanization more is the Granger reason of urbanization.The analysis shows that, the process of industrialization in Jilin Province in recent years,grows slightly faster than the development of urbanization process. This paper put forwardthe corresponding policy recommendations, which mainly has three aspects: First, theperformance of the rural labor force transfers to cities and towns. With the continuousdevelopment of urban industrialization, the government should promote urban and rural labor migration, so as to promote the development of urbanization. Second, the optimizationof the industrial structure promotes the transformation and upgrading of the industrialeconomy. The original form of industrial development is not enough to attract rural workersmigrating more, to explore a new path of industrial development. To vigorously develop theservice industry is one solution of the bottleneck of the development of urbanization. Finally,it is to drive around the town center area. This way can not only optimize the layout of urbanspace, expanse of urbanization, but also take the opportunity to advance sustainabledevelopment of industrial economy. In order to make the coordination interaction betweenindustrialization and urbanization progress, these three aspects are indispensable.
