The Comprehensive Evaluation And Analysis Of Industrialization And Urbanization In Hefei City

Industrialization and urbanization are necessary progress for every society, in most of cases; they are imaged as two wheels of a city and interact with each other. Balanced development between them can lead to the overall improvement for a city. Industrialization will lead to urbanization, inversely, the urbanization will accelerate industrialization. According to the experience of developed countries, there is a rule in the progress of Industrialization and urbanization. At the initial stage, industrialization developed faster than urbanization, the industrialization promote the urbanization; at the middle stage of industrialization, the industrialization developed very fast, so the industrialization will lead the urbanization, and cause many problems in the development of urbanization, as a result, the urbanization is blocked. The balance between the Industrialization and urbanization are broken. Because of the difference among the area, background, system environment and economic basis; the industrialization and urbanization behavior as strong space-time difference. So the balance between the Industrialization and urbanization become on of the hot topic in academic circle.This thesis takes the hospital of Anhui province-Hefei city as the research project; it states The interaction between Industrialization and urbanization and theory of balanced relationship. The dissertation also introduces several harmonic models describe the current situation of the city and selects the most suitable model for Hefei city according to the practical background. The model utilizes single specification to describe the industrialization and urbanization of Hefei city in recent five years. However, industrialization and urbanization are comprehensive concept, including several facets, and it is not accurate by using single specification. Therefore, this thesis builds the comprehensive model for industrialization and urbanization. The data of Hefei city in 1990-2008 are collected based on investigation and literature survey. By using combination of method of factor analysis and method of entropy value and with the assistance of SPSS & EXCEL, the index of industrialization and urbanization are calculated respectively. Based on the calculated results, we further study the current development of industrialization and urbanization in Hefei city, and analyze the reason of imbalance between industrialization and urbanization. Finally, the thesis presents the solutions and suggestions for the problems, and provides the theoretical guidance.
