With increasing attention to environmental problems, the government issued a series of preferential policies for wind power enterprises, the development of wind power industry developed rapidly. However, as the wind power market matures, increasing competition between the industry, in which the install gross margin of kilowatt-hour fell sharply, forced wind power enterprise’s change of management. In the wind power enterprise management, the most prominent problem is artificially high inventory and low inventory turnover rate. How to use the effective approach to make the inventory control in a reasonable level,which can reduce inventory cost and improve the service level of enterprises, become each enterprise the most concern.Through the analysis of A wind power enterprise inventory problem, the main reason of high inventory and low inventory turnover rate is that supply does not match the requirements; accurately forecasting demand and formulating reasonable purchasing strategy is the key to solve the problem. At first, this paper use the ABC classification method based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to classify spare parts of inventory, which can consider each attribute and evaluation index of the spare parts comprehensively and objectively, can make the classification result more accord with the needs of actual inventory management, and different types of spare parts adopt different management strategies; Then, A kind of spare parts focused on proceed demand prediction:mainly through collecting a large number of historical operation data about spare parts, the analysis of the failure law of spare parts, set up reliability distribution model based on the weibull distribution, and estimate the parameters of the mode; thought spare parts failure function predict the number of damaged spare parts, namely the quantity demanded in the future. Finally, this paper mainly analyzes the effects of random demand for safety stock, set up inventory model based on the economic order quantity, structure objective function of system optimization on the target of minimizing the total cost of inventory system to determine the optimal replenishment policy, and forecast the effect of optimization.Research of this paper is helpful to improve the level of wind power enterprise inventory management; the inventory system optimization model provides a effective way and theoretical basis for stochastic demand in the enterprise inventory control.
