| Since the United States joined TPP, some developed countries in Asia-Pacificregion such as Canada, Australia and Japan have joined them successively. TPP hasbecome a regional free trade agreements with high standard and specifications inAsia-Pacific region. However, China is excluded from the TPP. The achievement ofTPP will lead to increasing the intra-regional trade, simultaneously, some parts of theexports from countries of outer region·s transferring to TPP members, so that China’simport and export trade must have under its influence. It is of great necess ity to makeanalysis of export similarity· between China and some other TPP countries, and asignificant test of trade on US with other members from TPP. TPP will impact on thetrade among its members, and China·s import and export trade will be also affected.Finally, we draw some conclusions on what measures should be taken by China whenfacing the challenge of TPP.The paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter introduces the backgroundand significance of the research, which summarized the achievements of the relativeresearch on the how United States promotes the TPP and the impact on the investmentin the environment of China’s import and export in academic circles both domesticallyand abroad, and give a brief introduction of the train of thought and research methods.The second chapter sketches out the background of TPP, describes its maincontent, and analyzes the characteristics of the TPP. Predictions of the trend of TPP aremade, it is more likely to achieve this negotiations.Chapter3analyzed the impact of TPP on China’s import and export trade. Itdescribes the trade situation between China and the TPP members, and focuses on itsscale and structure of trade. The electromechanical products is the largest scalecommodity of China’s export to TPP members. The above statement is made byanalyzing the structure of trade in goods. Then the analysis of electromechanical products exporting similarity on China, Malaysia, and Singapore is made. Finally, itstated that TPP would change the rules of international trade, affected on China·s trade,as well as put pressure on the breakthrough in China’s position in the global industrialchain by repression from a political perspective.The fourth chapter studied the challenges of TPP with China, and give somesolution. TPP not only impacts on Chinese economy, but also to curbs China’sdevelopment on the political strategy. From the economic perspective, the highregulations of TPP, such as the elimination of tariff and trade barriers, TPP membercountries would transfer their import demand from China to the internal TPP members.Its high standards are in favor of the transfer of high technology and cooperation withthe internal region, thus China will be excluded. However, TPP has a positive impacton the China as well. Under the TPP·s pressure, in order to adapt to the new rules ofinternational trade, it is necessary to regulate economic structure. In order to foreseemore possibility and practicality, China could learn experience from the reform of TPPmembers. From the political perspective, TPP could undermine Chinese discursivepower. However, it will impact on the reform of China·s economy system. It presentedsome policy recommendations on China·s facing the TPP, including the followingthree points are mentioned. Firstly, to enhance the core competitiveness of exportproducts, adjust domestic economic structure is critical; Secondly, seizing theopportunity to participate in TPP negotiation process is important; Last, China shouldre-organize trade bloc to compete with TPP.The fifth chapter summarized the content of this article, and further pointed outthe impact of China’s import and export trade TPP. Faced with these challenges, whatmeasures China should take. |
