China and South Korea have similar culture. Cultural exchange has a longhistory, such as frequent economic and trade exchanges. Since1992the establishmentof diplomatic ties, China and South Korea have attracted the attention in the field ofeconomy and trade exchange, especially the rapid development of expanding tradecooperation. At present, China has become the largest trade partner of South Korea,the biggest export market and the largest source of imports, the largest overseasinvestment object, the largest source of international students, the largest overseastravel destination, bilateral trade volume exceeded South Korea and the United States,South Korea and Japan and South Korea total Europe trade, bilateral trade volumereached US30$billion in2015, FTA has entered the key substantive stage, freetrade agreement between South Korea and China initialled the complete text of all,agreement was confirmed, so far, FTA negotiations completed. But in the case ofagricultural products between China and South Korea trade, although there is SouthKorea’s second largest agricultural trading partner, the second largest exporter ofagricultural products trade partner, fourth largest export products, but in comparison,bilateral agricultural products trade in total trade ratio is not high, and the Korea tradehas maintained the deficit at the same time, agricultural products remain surplus,therefore also by South Korea to take various trade means, leading to frequent tradefriction between the two sides, the influence of the stable and healthy development ofeconomic and trade.South Korea is an island land area. It is small and poor in natural resources, atraditional agricultural country, strong consciousness of agricultural protection, beforeWorld War II, the Korean economy is relatively backward, but after World War II, only with more than20years to complete the industrialization process, has becomeone of the world’s most advanced industrial countries, many industrial products,particularly electronics, shipbuilding technology level of science and technology inthe world leading position. But due to its limited arable land resources and othernatural conditions, the current agricultural products in external dependence on high,mainly rely on imports to meet domestic needs, China and South Korea are basicallysimilar in the product structure, the national diet is largely the same, similar to thetwo geographic location, convenient traffic, strong through the basic situation ofbilateral agricultural products trade between China and South Korea and the structureof agricultural products trade between the two countries complementary ofagricultural products, international trade theory calculation verification using,comparative advantage and competitive advantage with the trade of agriculturalproducts between China and South Korea, and finds out the existing in theagricultural products trade problems and methods to solve the problems, it will beconducive to further broaden the agricultural products trade between China and Koreain the FTA state space the trade of agricultural products, promoting the expansion ofthe scale, improve the level of bilateral economic and trade.South Korea to protect domestic agricultural production and marketing ofagricultural products, agricultural protection policies to take maximum, theimplementation of strict technology on agricultural products import and export, hightariffs and strict inspection and quarantine and other trade barriers, and at the sametime Chinese agricultural products have its quality problems and there are manyproblems in the production, processing, sales etc. link and departments, causing twocountries often trade friction and disputes in the agricultural products trade betweenthe two countries, not only to bring about huge economic losses, but also seriouslyaffected the healthy development of bilateral agricultural products trade obstacles.This paper puts forward bilateral agricultural products trade is conducive to the construction of stable good development and a series of measures to solve theproblems, to further promote the regional cooperation between the two countries,especially in the trade of agricultural products in China and South Korea cooperation,enhance the FTA box under Chinese the competitiveness of agricultural products hasthe extremely important significance.
