In the era of technological innovation, knowledge is the most valuable capital to achieveinnovation. Therefore, knowledge has become the source of all competition. With the rapiddevelopment of the Internet, the value of knowledge gradually shifts to a virtual communitybuilt by the Internet. Virtual community is similar to various organizations in the realenvironment, one of the main activities of the project is the knowledge sharing behaviorbetween members. The key to explore the development mode of virtual communities iscrucial factors of research community knowledge sharing behavior, the effect of Knowledgesharing knowledge affect knowledge Innovation Community. whether physical or virtualcommunities community Researchers of social capital theory think that social capital of theindividual will generate as long as the exchange of human existence. Social capital formedfrom different backgrounds in turn affect people’s behavior, thinking, communication patterns. At present, research on social capital theory in the virtual community is still in the exploratorystage, not mature enough. Therefore, it is necessary to forward our view to study themechanism of social capital on the virtual community of knowledge sharing behavior underother academic research model, and social capital on knowledge innovation in the role ofknowledge sharing. In this paper, Virtual community is the exchange of knowledge-basedcommunity.Firstly, Thesis analyses social capital theory and its development model, the definition ofvirtual communities and research areas covered, knowledge sharing, knowledge innovationmechanism to achieve under the entity communities based on review of researchers. Secondly, based on social capital theory Nahapiet and Ghoshal proposed, but thesis put forward a newinterpretation of the variables, variables include: central, values, personal expertise, trust, familiar, community recognized six variables, etc; knowledge sharing is measure by theamount of knowledge gathered and contribution; community knowledge innovationperformance measure based on a reference entity community for scholars, and to revise andimprove based on the intrinsic characteristics of the virtual community. Finally, thequestionnaire design, organize data, and empirical research by spss17.0and lisrel8.7, analyzethe resulting view.Combining research findings to analysis theoretical significance of this study, putforward proposal about enhancing community knowledge sharing behavior and knowledgeinnovative’ level in terms of centrality, trust, individual expertise, network infrastructure, community building.
