Ecotourism Planning In The Hilly And Upland Areas Of Longnan Prefecture, Gansu Province

Agritourism has become a burgeoning new industry in China ever since the late20th century. It is an edge industry developed on the basis of traditional agriculture and modem tourism. To urban citizens and the like, the charm of the countryside may not be just a change of place, but a change of cognitive value. Longnan Prefecture in Gansu Province is mainly landformed by hills and mountains with rich topographical and cultural features. The rise of agritourism is due to the natural environment, abundant agricultural resources, and rural cultural characteristics and landscape. These distinct natural and cultural resources provided this arid Western area for the leap and sustainable development of agriculture.This thesis reviewed the recent research achievements of agritourism and summarized the concept, characteristic, function, development type and status of agritourism. We analyzed and evaluated the agritourism resources in Longnan area through detailed investigation. In longnan district of Agritourism resources analysis and evaluation, find out the problems in touring development of Agritourism, advantages and potential, its superior geographical conditions, rich natural resources, species diversity, better planting base, Lin tea fruit production has a long history and animal husbandry developing rapidly, the industrial structure more reasonable, rapid economic growth, social conditions, create the good conditions for construction of Agritourism. There is a shortage of arable land resources at the same time, low productivity, rural economic development imbalance, agricultural tourism resources need to be further mining. According to the principle of agricultural ecology and tourism, combining the current situation and development direction of Agritourism, finally figured out in longnan district tourism agricultural planning and development should take the characteristics of leading industry as the breakthrough point, better make full use of local climate conditions, various topographical features, rich resources, around the leading industry for scientific planning, rational layout, to achieve the leap development of mountain Agritourism strategy. In order to realize the combination of theory with practice, this study also made a further study on the principle, idea and method of the developing plan of agritourism and carried on the preliminary empirical planning.The analysis and evaluation of agritourism in Longnan area has certain practical value and guiding significance for the development of agritourism in Western China.
