The Study And Application On People-oriented Urbanization Of Comprehensive Eveluation Index System

People-oriented urbanization is an inevitable trend of the urban development in humansociety, also is the more and more importent urbanization development pattern in our countryat present. Its purpose is comprehensively improving the living quality of the people in thehistory of the traditional society turning to modern society, and realizing the all-rounddevelopment of people. However, the transformation of people-oriented urbanization fromtheory to practice needs to have a carrier, the paper is based on the related theories of thedomestic and foriegh humanistic theory, urban theory and the evaluation index system of thesociety development, urban construction and so on, combining the reality of our country tobuild a comprehensive evaluation index system of people-oriented urbanization. The indexsystem is divided into the urban fanctions, urban livability, the level of urban-ruralintegration and floating population conditions four first-level indicators. Then, electing fourDerect-controlled municipalities and15deputy provincial cities as sample, using the methodof principle component analysis to evaluate the comprehensive people-oriented degree of19cities and ranking, and then appling the method of cluster analysis for the empirical testresults will find that the results of cluster analysis and principle component analysis areconsistent, which shows that the index system can reflect the essence and connotation ofpeople-oriented urbanization. The results of the empirical analysis shows that the overall levelof people-orinted urbanization in our country is low. Exsisting regional imbalances in theconstruction of people-orinted urbanization. The specific analysis and conclusions include:(1)The scientific concept of “people-orinted”should always be carried out in the construction ofurbanization.(2) The countermeasures to solve the outstanding proplems that exsist in thepeople-oriented urbanization include five aspects: inproving the level of city hardware andsoftware services, developing city culture and education careers, creating sustainableecological environment and realizing the fair development.
