| With the rapid development of economy in our country, the urbanization process constantly improve, demand of construction land is increasing, and contradiction of land supply and demand land is growing. Combined the unreasonable land use structure and layout of all kinds of land use ratio, land resources is facing serious challenges and at the same time also hinder the advance of urbanization process. Intensive construction land use and urbanization coordinated development is beneficial to solve the contradiction between supply and demand of land. Shijiazhuang is the capital of Hebei province, its intensive construction land use coordinated with the coupling of urbanization study is helpful to grasp the development of construction land intensive use and urbanization, utilize land for construction rationally and propel urbanization strategy, promote the urban sustainable development, and realize the city of "economic, social, and ecological" benefit maximization.This paper is based on the Provincial Natural Science Fund Project " Study the Mechanism of the city land prices and land intensive use "(D2011205098) and the project of Land and Resources Ministry "Important urban constructive land saving and intensive use assessment". In this paper, on the basis of the construction land intensive use and the connotation of urbanization and related theoretical studies of Shijiazhuang city, it builds construction land intensive use and urbanization evaluation index system. Based on the intensive use of construction land for the quantitative evaluation of the level of urbanization and the use of degree of coupling model, coupled coordinated development degree model relative development model to determine the stage and type of its coupling coordination, it reveals the coordination of the construction land intensive utilization coupled with urbanization the relationship between the timing characteristics and spatial differences.The main contents and arguments are as follows:(1) Build construction land intensive use and urbanization evaluation index system. The intensive use of land for construction index system includes:input intensity index, strength index, an increase of consumption places index, output efficiency, eco-efficiency and sustainability; the urbanization index system includes:the urbanization of the population, economic urbanization, the urbanization of life ecological urbanization, spatial urbanization. (2) Calculate the coupling degree of coordinated development degree and the relative development with coupled coordination model,and divide the stage and type of coupling coordination with criteria. During the period from2002to2011year the construction land intensive utilization and the coupling coordination level of urbanization of Shijiazhuang city is in seven types of three kinds of stages:the antagonist stage(â… â…¡ class), running-in stage (â…£ â…¤ â…¥ class), coordination stage (â…¦ â…¨ class).(3) The time scale analysis of the results of coupling coordination are:the construction land intensive utilization degree of coordination coupled with urbanization of Shijiazhuang City roughly divided into three stages:from2002to2006year in the coupling coordination uneven development period, coupled coordinated development stage level of missing; from2006to2009year in coupling coordination steady development period; from2010to2011year in the coupling coordination phase of rapid development, the relationship of construction land intensive use and urbanization is optimizing.(4) The coupling coordination of spatial scale analysis results are:the intensive construction land use and urbanization of Shijiazhuang city coupled coordination sheet partition characteristic. From2002to2009year the generally coupled coordination is high in the east and low in the west, ladder-like fragmentation gathering.
