There is a change of competition focus from visible financial products to invisible financial service, reputation and image, which is a change from hardware orientation to software orientation. In this process, commercial bank should identify their core competitiveness and perfect it gradually. Financial ethic is an essential part of commercial bank core competitiveness. Therefore, researches on financial ethics are greatly crucial to commercial bank.This thesis is mainly on financial ethics, and integrates it into the study of commercial bank development and bank core competitiveness. An extremely new angle is adopted, taking commercial bank employees as subjects. As a result the employees’ view on financial ethics’ great influence on G bank core competitiveness development is clear.The first part of this thesis is the theory basis statement, both on financial ethics and commercial bank core competitiveness. Starting from the origin of these two theories, this thesis covers the content, development, and features aspects and operation mechanism as well. Theoretical basis and its status quote are discussed on financial ethics’influence on G bank core competitiveness development. The second part takes G bank employees as subjects for a survey to study in the employees’ view on the relationship between financial ethics and commercial bank core competitiveness. Methods as sampling and interviews are used to investigate in their view and awareness of the relationship between financial ethics and commercial bank core competitiveness. The data collected is analyzed and serves as a proof of the employees’agreement on the great influence of financial ethics on commercial bank core competitiveness development. The last part of this essay appeals to related financial professions, organizations and committees to increase their awareness of the importance of financial ethics concerning commercial bank core competitiveness development. This thesis aims at increasing the awareness of commercial bank on the importance of financial ethics, as to enhance the inspection and management of financial ethics in the G bank. Eventually G bank can achieve their core competitiveness sustainable development.
