As the global economic rapid development and the speeding up of world economicintegration, international operation become a inevitable choice of the development of manyenterprises. The car industry is no exception, according to statistics, the world’s top ten carcompanies through decades of development, all without exception become a largemultinational company.Since the founding of the people, China’s auto industry has experienced a process fromscratch, since the childhood. In2009, China’s domestic automobile production reached13.791million, the first time become the world’s largest car producer,2013annual production ofmore than20million vehicles, the world’s first for five consecutive years. However, in thehistory of Chinese automobile enterprises in the international influence obviously and thestatus of the world’s largest car producers do not match, at present China is still just a carpowers not auto power, competition in the international environment that China’s automanufacturing industry faces a serious situation, also has brought unprecedentedopportunities. In numerous independent brand automobile enterprises in China, the Great Wallautomobile group on the internationalization road started late, but the internationalizationdevelopment faster, and continuously explore our own internationalization development path.In this background, the paper studies the specific internal and external environment facedby the Great Wall Motor Group through the theory of international strategy and internal&external matrix method, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages, the opportunities andchallenges, and then concluded the alternative internationalization strategy by SWOT analysis.And ultimately the writer determine the internationalization strategy--SO strategy throughquantitative analysis of strategic planning matrix. At last, the writer proposed some specificmeasures based on the SO strategy.
