With the rapid development of China’s economy and the deepening of economic globalization, the competition is becoming increasingly fierce among all the industries, especially for the consulting industry. More and more domestic consulting companies are newly set up in these years, so do foreign investment consulting companies. Despite the amount of consulting companies are increasing annually and the scale of them are much small, their services are quite similar, and the competition is quite fierce. Many small and medium sized consulting companies are just short-lived existence. The market survival rate is very low. Nowadays, to study how they respond to the market competition has become a hot topic.This study describes the development process as well as the development problems of the management consulting industry, and then through the PEST analysis method, analyzes the characteristics and development status of the management consulting industry from the macro environment, and then objectively analyzes Fiducia Management Consulting Company’s internal environment, the competitive environment as well as its advantages and disadvantages. Combined with the prior PEST analysis of the external environment, come out to the opportunities and challenges faced by the company; finally, combining SWOT analysis and7Ps marketing theory, works out the marketing strategies. The author hopes this study can give other similar enterprises some development inspiration.
