Management Game (short for MG) is one of the management courses which are run by Carnegie Mellon University, and it is a comprehensive course that stressing on corporation operation training. MG is based on a computer interact simulation system and constructs a multinational, dynamic and competitive environment.There are totally5companies in each world in the circumstance of MG, similar categories of products are produced by each company, and the products are divided into two classes:high quality level and low quality level.all of5companies compete in one government’s bid market and5countries’retail markets,United states, Japan, China, Germany and British. The operation results are given by the computer system in every quarter. Each management team report the performance and the operation plan to the board meeting annually, the board is composed of university professors and entrepreneurs from real companies. There are5worlds in the management game environment, total25companies from5worlds share one simulative stock market. The performance of each company influences the price of its shares in company.About3years production operation’s experience of GEM Company in the environment of MG has been summarized by this article. Starting from the major ideas of making the strategy of operation, The text describes the complete process of setting the operation strategy, the problems meet during the implement of strategy are analyzed and weather the solutions are effective is followed up.There are totally5units in this article, the background of management game and the introduction of GEM Company is described in the first unit. The relative theory which is applied during the operation of GEM Company is introduced in the second unit. The process of selecting the strategy of production operation and R&D is cited in the third unit. And we review the operation performance of GEM Company in the view of implement of strategy in the fourth unit.In the fifth unit, the strategy in the future3years was given according the practice of3years operation in the past.
