| The new rural cooperative medical care system,as the main system in rural medicalsecurity of China,to some extent resolved the problem " poverty again because of illness,poverty due to illness".But with the system running,some questions gradually exposed athreat to sustainable, healthy operation of the system.Many domestic scholars pointedout that the new rural cooperative medical care system, due to information asymmetry,the disadvantages of system design, the excess supply of medical service and so on,caused the occurrence of adverse selection.Yutai county was selected as the research object to survey farmers’ insurancesituation.This paper is mainly divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainlyintroduces the topic background,research significance,research purpose,literaturereview,the possible innovation and inadequate.The second chapter mainly introduces therelated concepts and theoretical basis, and provides theoretical basis for the research.The third chapter mainly introduces the operation background,implementationand promotion situation of the new rural cooperative medical of Yutai county, analysesthe questionnaire, and concludes that the higher the age,the more numbers of old familymembers,the larger labor intensity,the worse health,more frequent sick makesfarmers continue to participate in the insurance,which may lead to adverse selection.The fourth chapter is the focus of this chapter, the influence factors of the farmers’insurance act are empirically analyzed by the principal component analysis (pca), binaryLogistic regression analysis,and the conclusion is that physical health,age,illnessessituation, and compensation situation significantly affect farmers’ continuous insuranceparticipation behavior, high-risk groups than the low risk category are more willing tostay within the system,so in the operation of new rural cooperative medical of Yutaicounty, adverse selection behavior does exist.The fifth chapter puts forward somereference suggestions and countermeasures to dissolve the adverse selection,such asperfecting the financing mechanism,setting up reasonable reimbursement scope andscale,etc. |
