Since the1990’s, the informationization has become a remarkable feature of global economic and social development, and gradually to the evolution of a full range of social change. Entering the21st century, the informationization has more profound impact on economic and social development. In the field of research, many scholars have emphasized the leading role of strategy on organizational structure, as well as the important influence to the strategy implementation of organizational structure. However, in the era of rapid development of information technology, what important roles does the organization structure change play in the enterprise informationization strategy implementation, which needs.further research.’Therefore, with China Unicom as the example, this paper studied the organization structure change on informatization strategy implementation.In this paper, the China unicorn for case study, face to face interview as the main way of information collection, according to the time sequence, the China unicom of organization structure change process and informatization strategy implementation process has carried on the detailed analysis of the longitudinal; Through detailed analysis, systematically combed the organization structure change on informationization strategy implementation, then set up the theory framework that organization structure reform to promote informationization strategy implementation, perfect the relevant research about structure of strategy implementation. At the same time; offering practice reference for the existing Chinese enterprises to carry out the strategy of informatization.In this paper, on the basis of literature review, described and analyzed the case of the information technology department of China Unicom. In the ease description, according to the time sequence, described five organizational structure changes process of information technology’department of the China Unicom and the implementation of the strategy of informatization process; and summarized the key function and management process, of information technology department of China Unicom respectively every organization structure change, In case analysis,the organization structure changes course combined case description, respectively explore the key function’s influence on the system architecture and business process, the management process’s effect on business process and information organization integration, and then systematically combed the organization structure change on informationization strategy implementation.According to the case analysis, this paper systematically integrated the process of organization structure change role in the strategy implementation of the informatization, extracting this promotes process has experienced four stages.The problem of study on theory, this article’s conclusion:(1) Through the longitudinal analysis concluded that the organizational structure change role in the strategy implementation of the informatization in the informatization strategy implementation is layer on different stages.(2) The organization structure change by the key functions and management process have promoting role on system architecture, business process and information fusion organization informatization strategy implementation, the key function mainly affect the system architecture and business process, management process mainly affects the business process and information organization.(3) Organization structure changes to promote system architecture, business process and information fusion organization has experienced four stages of the process of change, to ensure the implementation of information strategy, therefore, in the information age,the enterprise need to adapt, matching the organization structure change form when they implement informationization strategy, so that easily to deal with problems arising from the informatization strategy implementation.
