National crude steel output has been ranking global No.1for18years. On one side, steel industry helps promote our process of industrial modernization. On the other side, it turns China into "Global Lodestone". Iron ore is the main raw material for steel industry. However, domestic supply is far behind total demand, which causes high dependence on foreign iron ore. Affected by steel enterprises’independent import trade patterns, import iron ore logistics costs keep fairly high and result in vast of resources waste. All in all, bases on logistics integration theory, the thesis selects some port as the breakthrough point and builds logistics integration model under capacity constraints and lowest logistics costs objectives in order to dispose resources rationally, improve industry clusters’ collaborative ability and realize cost decreasing and benefit increasing. The thesis specifically includes following aspects.(1) Describe import iron ore trade patterns and general process. Then based on global resources layout and supply-demand relationship, analyze China’s import iron ore logistics present situation in order to summarize key problems of the system.(2) Emphasize the importance of port node to logistics network and put forward the logistics integration model. The core of the model is to realize "centralized procurement, unified inventory, just in time delivery" mode via port logistics center. Owing to the procurement discretization and resources constraints, the thesis separates research period into several parts and disposes resources rationally by each logistics operation link and time part, at the same time, analyzes dynamic changes in the system.(3) Investigate the model further by optimization algorithm and heuristic algorithm respectively and establish computer languages via Lingo and C#software. Optimization algorithm is for exact solution in small scale problems and genetic algorithm is for appropriate optimal solution in large scale problems.(4) Set import iron ore logistics of the Yingkou Port as example and conclude resources optimal configuration solution under different time period and different logistics operation links. Based on the configuration solution, the thesis puts forward further optimization suggestion such as handling machinery improvement, pendulum transportation, haul distance dicrease and secondary transit centers establishment.
