A Research On Quality Competitiveness Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Jiangxi Province Based On Quality Competitiveness Index

With the acceleration of industrialization in China, the equipmentmanufacturing industry plays more important role in the national economydevelopment. In the equipment manufacturing industry competition, quality hasbecome a powerful weapon for a country, a region and an enterprise to win themarket, enhance the competitiveness. Located in the central region of China，JiangxiProvince has a low development level of equipment manufacturing industry, andremains a large gap with advanced regions. The problem of low qualitycompetitiveness has become the core issue restricting to accelerate the developmentof the equipment manufacturing industry in Jiangxi Province.This paper mainly adopts the literature reading method, social investigationmethod and comparative research method. Using the theory of competence andtheory of quality management, this paper discusses in detail the development processand research status of quality competitiveness theory. Based on the investigation andanalysis of relevant data of manufacturing enterprises in Jiangxi Province, this paperapplies the index model of quality competitiveness, developed by AQSIQ, to analyzethe quality competitiveness of equipment in Jiangxi Province. Then, this paperproposes the current prominent problems restricting the development of equipmentmanufacturing industry in Jiangxi Province, and puts forward correspondingcountermeasures from technical standard, quality management, technical innovation,structure transformation, optimizing environment aspects to enhance qualitycompetitiveness of equipment manufacturing industry in Jiangxi Province.Research work of this paper is closely combined with the real condition ofequipment manufacturing industry in Jiangxi Province. Research production of thispaper has preferably reference value for governmental departments to formulaterelevant policies and measures of development of equipment manufacturing industryin Jiangxi Province.
