Research On The Development Strategies Of Farmers’ Professional Cooperatives In Wuhan City

China is a large agricultural country, the majority of the population is in rural areas. Because agricultural production in China has the features of "small、scattered and weak", and the organization level is low, the agricultural products lack of strong competitiveness in the market. Therefore, how to enhance the farmers organizing ability, let the farmers organized together to face the market, take part in market competition is the key to solve the "agriculture、countryside and farmers" issue.In July1st,2007, the People’s Republic of China Law on farmers’ professional cooperatives formally come into effect. It is the first time for China to legislated for the farmers’mutual assistance and cooperation, since its reform and opening up. The law determines the status of farmers’professional cooperatives of the s market entity. It is a significant event in the farmers’professional cooperative development history.The current status of development of agriculture in Wuhan, urgently calls for the establishment of farmers’professional cooperatives to improve the industrial structure. I am going to study the development of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Wuhan, as well as studying the foreign advanced experience. By researching the problems and reasons, I am trying to find strategies for further development of farmers’ professional cooperatives of Wuhan, realization of Wuhan’s vibrant and healthy economic development.
