How to efficiently manage a large engineering project financing risk is still a keyresearch issue so far in the field of engineering project management in the current,and because of the social development and progress of science and technology, smalland medium-sized projects have been unable to meet the needs of people and society,at the same time, with the development of project management theory and projectfinancing, there are more and more large projects appeared. In the current, study onthe management of large engineering project financing risk is not perfect, and theniche theory has a great development in recent years, it is widely used in variousdisciplines, so in order to improve the level of management of large engineeringproject financing risk, the paper will apply the niche theory to study management oflarge engineering project financing risk, provides a new angle for the research onmanagement of large engineering project financing risk.First of all, in this paper, the characteristics of large engineering project financingrisk and the risk sources are analyzed, and the checklist method and empirical data isused to preliminarily determine the36financing risk index, and use the graycorrelation analysis to make index reduction for the first time, then based on the indexsystem which have been reducted,using the rough set theory to make index reductionagain, finally confirmed the financing risk index system which composed of16indicators, lays the foundation for follow-up study. Second, through the introductionof the ecological niche of large engineering project financing risk and how to choosethe method for evaluation, and with the consideration of "state" and "potential"ultimately selected the grey comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate thefinancing risk, and use the entropy weight coefficient method to determine the weightof every index, the riskevaluation system is established by the entropy weightcoefficient method and gray comprehensive evaluation. Then,uses the nicheregulation theory to reply the financing risk of large engineering project, on the basisof the theory of ecological niche regulation, divides the regulation of largeengineering project financing risk into three levels, and combining with the largeengineering project financing risk types, risk properties, according to the three levelsof large engineering project financing risk control, the financing risk measures alsodivides into three levels, and puts forward five corresponding response of large engineering project financing risk. Finally, the paper researched the financing riskmanagement of Qingdao Jiao-Zhou bay tunnel engineering, the result show that thefinancing risk management system is feasible.The paper uses the niche theory to study the financing risk management of largeengineering project, not only expands the application field of the niche theory, butalso make the original large engineering project financing risk management researchcontent more rich. The paper applys the niche theory to large engineering projectfinancing risk evaluation and risk response at the same time, from the perspective ofecology to study the financing risk management of large engineering project,improves the overall level of large engineering project financing risk management,has a great significance both in theory and practice.
