Logistics System is an important part for the coal enterprises and throughout theentire production process of a company. The existing studies focus on the evaluation ofgeneral industrial companies, and rarely build a separate evaluation system for coalenterprises. The coal industry is the backbone of national economy, and the mode of theproduction is unlike most industrial companies. Above all, the direct use of the existingevaluation system for the coal company is not applicable. This thesis carries out a seriesof studies on the comprehensive evaluation system of coal company logistics system.First of all, the development of the logistics process is discussed, and the coalcompany logistics system is analyzed according to the basic theory of logistics. Throughthe analysis of present situation, the characteristics of coal logistics system in China isas follows:(1) the cost of logistic is high;(2) The standard of market services is still inlow level;(3) the integration and information of logistic is backward;(4) the logistics infrastructure is falling behind;(5) the resource distribution is unreasonable.Based on the former studies, scientific and reasonable evaluation index system ofcoal logistics system is built for the coal industry. Comparing with the traditional indexsystem, the one proposed in this thesis is closer to the actual situation of the logisticssystem of coal mine, more scientific, rational and dynamic. After the index system isdefined, the AHP (analytic hierarchy process) is selected to calculate the indicatorweight values. By inviting experts to compare the importance of each two indicator, thediscriminant matrix is established. Its maximum characteristic value and characteristicroot are calculated, and the consistency is checked. Finally, the ultimate weighted valueof each index relative to the overall objectives is obtained. In order to reduce thedeviation of analytic hierarchy process that caused by subjectivity, in this thesis,9experts in different areas have solid theoretic base and rich practical are invited.On thebasis of the traditional fuzzy evaluation model, for the unique features of logisticssystem of coal mine, the comment sets and their corresponding values are proposed.The thresholds of corresponding quantitative index are determined according to relatedarticles. At last, multi-level evaluating model is build by using weighted average fuzzyoperator.Finally, a case study of a coal mine Y in the north of China is used to verify the comprehensive evaluation system of coal logistics system which is constructed in thisthesis. The result of case analysis shows that the evaluation system built in this thesis isscientific and reasonable, and can be well applied in practice.
