With the rapid development of the regional economy, the demand of air transportation in Qingdao also grows steadily, the prospect of the aviation industry is very optimistic. Qingdao Branch of Shandong Airlines faces development opportunities and enormous challenges of market competition at the same time. It is a major issue for Qingdao Branch of Shandong Airlines that how to get considerable development in the increasingly fierce market competition. Operation Command Center as the heart of Qingdao Branch of Shandong Airlines is the core of branch base site operating organization, direction, coordination, which afford insurance of field operation and the mission of setting command forward. All of them are very important for the promotion of Qingdao Branch of Shandong Airlines. However, Operation Command Center is still facing a number of problems that need to be solved. These problems have affected the long-term stable development of the Operation Command Center seriously. To achieve sustainable development of Operation Command Center and play full role in directing in Qingdao Branch of Shandong Airlines, we must strive to improve the structure of organization and improve the collaboration in department continuously to enhance the productivity of employee. The premise of completing these tasks is scientific job design.This paper takes the Qingdao Branch of Shandong Airlines job design as the study object and uses literature review to study the relevant theories on job design. This paper analyses the current situation of job design by field investigation in Operation Command Center and finds problems of the current job design, then the writer comes up with improvement solution and implementing measures. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper contains four parts. The first part is the theoretical overview of job design including the job design concepts, the development of basic theory and relevant content and the theory of leading-edge research,which establish the theoretical foundation for later research. The second part analyzes the situation of job design in Operation Command Center of Qingdao Branch of Shandong Airlines. This part analyzes the status of their job design after presenting an overview of the Operation Command Center, finds the problems of job design, reasons and points out the necessity of improvement of job design. The third part is the main body of the paper, which describes the improvement program of job design in Operation Command Center. This part designs a complete solution which focusing the situation and problems of Operation Command Center. The fourth part comes up with the implement measures and process in order to make the effective implementation of programs into effect, wrhile analyzes the barriers in implementing job design improvement program and proposes the countermeasures. Finally, the evaluation effect and feedback approach of job design improvement program are suggested.There are two innovation points in this paper:clarifying the key management process with traditional post designing method and putting forward the improvement program of job design in Operation Command Center. The improvement scheme is focused on the improvement of the original job description of Operation Command Center.
