The Veterinary Drug Supervision And Countermeasure Study In Anxi County Of Fujian Province

Nowadays both developed countries and developing countries are facing the challenge of food safetyproblem. Veterinary drug is widely used as indispensable rear livestock input, it may not only influencethe control effect of animal epidemic disease but also concerns the quality and safety of animal products.Although our government has taken many measures on supervision of veterinary drugs, production andsale of the fake veterinary drugs, use the illegal drugs and abuse drug abuse happened sometimes. Thefood safety affairs caused by these things usually happened, e.g. the clenbuterola case in2011and thewestern fast-food medicine chicken scandal in2012. As a result, the government should needs to takemore effective measures, supervise the whole course of production, management and each step in use,make sure the quality of veterinary drug and standard use, then to provide powerful protection for healthdevelopment of animal husbandry and the quality and safety of animal products.This study based on Anxi County and conducted a survey on management, use and supervising linksof veterinary drugs in Anxi from2011to2012. The first part of this paper we combed the purpose,significance, development at home and abroad and innovation point of the research. The second partmainly recommended the supervision system and model of developed countries such as America andEU and summarized the experiences worth learning; The third part mainly recommended thesupervising system, supervising status and major measures in our country’s veterinary drugs; The forthpart recommended the basic situation and the work carried out by the supervision department in Anxi,and analyzed the existing problems and causes aiming at the current situation of supervision; The fifthpart based on the former investigations and proposed politics suggestion and supervision model for Anxiveterinary drugs regulation.The characteristic of this issue was to analyze how to strengthen and improve veterinary drugsregulation on the county level, such as proposing to establish county-level veterinary drug chainoperation mechanism and create veterinary electronic supervisor platform, carry out veterinary drugpurchasing cards for farmers and so on. These targeted measures and thoughts may push theestablishment and improvement of good veterinary drug circulation and safely use of regulatoryplatform, improve Anxi veterinary drug supervision efficiency and regulation level effectively and thenprovide references for improving and regulating veterinary drug supervision for Anxi County or othersimilar districts.
