Tanzania was not only an important agricultural country in Africa but also had animportant international influence of the third world. After the country gained independence in theearly twentieth Century60’s,Tanzania established friendly and cooperative relations withChina.Although Tanzania had good resources for agricultural development,Tanzania’s agriculturaldevelopment was still very backward.The low level of mechanization,low fertilizer,low proportionof irrigated agriculture,it still depended on the weather,plant diseases and insect pests and droughtare the mainly important factors which influence the agricultural production of the country and evenin the fragile areas of Africa.The national per capita grain production is in a stage of can onlyachieve food and clothing.The implementation of this study helped to understand the main factorsaffecting the performance of the agricultural development in Tanzania,to provide decision supportfor China’s assistance to Tanzania agricultural development work.After reviewing the relevant literature, this study constructed a theoretical framework of theinfluencing factors of the Tanzania agricultural development performance, applying multipleregression model and Tanzania country data from1961to2012published by the World Bankanalyzed the main factors affecting the performance of agricultural development in Tanzania. Afterthat, the study analyzed the influence direction and degree of different factors on the performance ofagricultural development in Tanzania, and through further comparison with China agriculturaldevelopment pattern, formed the conclusion of research and proposed to improve the performance ofthe policy recommendations of agricultural development in Tanzania.Through this study, we candetermine the emphasis in work and strategy of the future agricultural development aid to Tanzania,by reducing aid costs for Tanzania to bring greater economic benefits and social benefits for it,thussuggestion which support the aid to agricultural development of Tanzania can be given.
