At time goes on, the new generation stuff poured into the workplace and has gradually become the main force in the labor market as time process. However, the superior growth environment lead the diversification of their value orientation, especially pluralism value orientation, hygiene factors such as salary and environment are not only what they pay attention to nowadays, mostly, they pay much attention to the so-called decent work of favourable career growth prospect, high organizational status, high social recognition and predioment working atmosphere. The new idea of decent work was proposed by the international labour organization in the last years of the20th century, and has put into prictise in the global sope and have made great achievement, and has attracted more and more attenetion among scollars and police makers.Take the new generation as the research object, goaled to construct the harmonious of labor relations and to improve the generation of work engagement of the new generation, this paper will do some research about the decent work perception of the new generation and then explore how decent work perception influences the work engagement of the new generation from the perspective of individual perception. Through the survey we found that the perception of decent work of the new generation is a conception of six dimensions which contains work reward, work load, career growth, occupation approval, organizational status and working atmosphere.The differences of decent work perception of the new generation employees on the demographic variable are as follows:1) there is no significant difference between genders among the new generation employees’decent work perception;2) the system of household registration has no significant influence on the decent work perception of the new generation employees’;3) there is no significant difference of the new generation employees’perception of working atmosphere, work load and organizational status among workers of different education degree, the perception of occupation approval is significantly higher of the group with baccalaureate or a high school diploma than the group with a master’s degree or a doctor’s degree, the perception of work reward is the lowest of the group with a college degree;4) there is no significant difference of the new generation employees’perception of working atmosphere, work reward and organizational status among workers of different working life. In terms of occupation approval decency, he group with three to ten years’ working life is significantly higher than the group with more than ten years’ working life. The group with more than ten years’ has the lowest career growth decency perception than the groups with less than ten years’ working life. In terms of perception of work load decency, the group with a working life between six and ten years is significantly higher than the group with a working life more than ten years.The results of regression analysis show that, the perception of working atmosphere, organizational status, occupation approval and work reward show a low positive correlation with work engagement of the new generation, relationship between work engagement and the perception of career growth and work load is not significant. Decent work perception plays a partly intermediary role in the process of the influence, and the intermediary role enhanced work engagement.
