Research On Quality Management Of KD Company Casting Parts

Nowadays, the developing of world economy is experiencing a growth shiftfrom quantity to quality, and the main market competition is also changing fromprice competition to quality competition. With the environment of opening globaleconomy, international trade and economic cooperation become essentialconditions for the country economic development. In the international market, thecompetition of products, services, resources and technologies is very intense, andthe quality is the guarantee to successfully enter the international market tocompete. The one without quality advantage in the fierce competition willdefinitely be eliminated. Product quality and service quality are valued by manycountries around the world, while the quality advantage is regarded as animportant means to compete in international markets. Economic development canonly rely on the revolution of quality, and on the other hand trade protectionismand currency devaluation are not able to solve the practical problems, which isalso difficult to establish long-term and effective competition advantage. Qualityis the premise for a company to proceed and develop which guarantees thecompany to occupy a quality position in the market; the higher the users requiredabout the quality of products, the more anxiously the enterprises are expected toimprove the quality of own products in order to be more competitive in themarket. Quality management is very essential as it is the premise for smoothproduction and guaranteed quality.This thesis firstly summarizes interrelated theories of automotive qualitymanagement, by learning quality management practical patterns from domesticand foreign automotive industry, which provides a theoretical and practical basisfor the study of casting quality management of KD Company. Then according tothe actual situation of the company, it discusses the existing problems andimprovement programs for casting quality management of KD Company indetails. This paper introduces casting products overview and quality management requirements of KD Company; proposes its influence factors of casting quality;fully analyzes each process which is complex and difficult to control, and comesup with the key points of quality control; to control and improve casting qualityof KD Company by using SPC methods; at the same time, offers proposals forcasting quality management improvement of KD Company.
