The scientific and reasonable production plan is able to make the refinery obtain opportunities in the increasingly fierce market competition. Therefore the problem of refinery production planning optimization has long been the research focus for scholars and experts who have achieved a lot of research achievements and provided a number of different solutions.This thesis mainly uses mathematical programming methods and intelligent optimization algorithm to study the refinery production planning optimization by combining with the literatures at home and abroad. Under the premise of meeting the requirements of the refinery production technology process, production planning in this thesis is contacted closely with demand and inventory of product, refining units operating costs and run-modes changeover costs. In this thesis a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model is established to describe the problem of the refinery production planning, and a Tabu search optimization algorithm is designed to solve the medium and large scale problems. This model and algorithm are able to improve the quality of production planning, ensure the practicality and adaptability of production planning and provide a scientific and practical method to develop the refinery production planning. The numerical experiments section uses C++programming language to achieve Tabu search algorithm and uses ILOG CPLEX to solve this MILP model. By comparison with two optimized results under the same conditions, it proves that the designed optimization algorithm is faster and more effective.The optimized production planning, developed by using the MILP model and Tabu search optimization algorithm in this thesis, is enable the refinery to meet market demand, save production costs, increase economic efficiency, improve technology and management level and enhance enterprises competitiveness. So this thesis has the role and significance of guiding the actual production.
