Study Of Heyuan’(City)s Medical Insurance System Of Urban-rural Integration

Medical insurance system is an extremely important part of China’s current socialinsurance, as well as the foundation of social development and stability. For current insurancesystem, the problem of area discrimination still exists, which does not reflect the principle offair distribution between urban and rural areas. Also the discrimination blocks the integrateddevelopment of urban and rural areas and is not good for the construction of socialistharmonious society. This paper mainly does research on Guangdong Province’s medicalinsurance system in urban and rural area. It selects HeYuan city, one of the underdevelopedcities in Guangdong Province, as the research object so as to discuss the construction ofmedical insurance system in underdeveloped city of a highly developed province.Considering the current social development, the problem of medical treatment attractsmuch attention from people and people even question the management of current medicalinsurance. Problems, like it is very difficult for people to see a doctor when they are ill, the costof receiving medical treatment is so high that people always become poor once they get aserious illness, appear again and again and they have hindered the development of socialmedical insurance and the work of social security. That is why this paper analyzes anddiscusses the specific implementation issues of current medical insurance system and to putforward reasonable suggestions for the rationalized development of China’s social securitysystem.Guided by the Three System and the latest medical reform policies, this paper researcheson He Yuan city’s urban and rural medical problems, studies the new development trend ofmedical insurance system and scientific methods, so as to provide scientific interpretation andoptimization measures for HeYuan’s medical insurance development and to contribute to thecountry’s social security system development.
