Yangtze River Delta Agricultural Product Processing Industry Development Research

With the development of reform and opening up and market economy, the development of the agriculture and rural economics has entered into a new historical stage in China. As for the agriculture, the ability of comprehensive production is being improved. Compared with the long-term shortage in the past, the supply of main agricultural products has been able to keep a good balance between suppliment and requirement, even be plenty in good years. The agricultural product marketability degree enhances, the agricultural development, which was by resources, has transformed to be restrained by the resources and the market. After the improvement of living standard, the agricultural development, which was in the pursuit of basic living request, has changed to pay more attention to the quality and the benefit besides keeping the total quantity balanced. With the speeding-up of the advancement of industrialization and the urbanization, and the opening-up’s unceasing expansion, the function of China’s agricultural and the rural economy is becoming more and more important, and the relations between them and the world economics are getting more and more closer.Since China has entered the WTO, the economy globalization affected China deeply day by day. Facing international and domestic markets, if Chinese agricultural product wants to win in the keen competition, it must cultivate its own competitive advantage, and develop characteristic industry. Nowadays, under the double attack from the international competition domestication and domestic competition internationalization the rural economy development is extremely difficult. At present, the development of the rural economy, must depend upon the agricultural technology advancement to transform traditional industry, on the other hand,it must make full use of the comparison superiority in countryside area to cultivate characteristic industry and develop "one village one product". By expanding industrial scale, different regions can establish the sustainable, the coordinated reasonable regional which will have their own characteristic and superiority. Such economies pattern can be in an impregnable position. The regional industry constructed on the basis of region characteristic will have competitive power and comparative superiority, and it can develop into characteristic industry ultimately. One of the most characteristic economic model is "One Village One Product"."One village one product movement" is a successful pattern originated from the Japanese agriculture industrialization. It means that residents in a village make full use of local resources superiority to develop "the high-quality goods" or "the unmatchable product" with local characteristics, finally enters domestic and international markets. The movement succeeded in Japan,so it aroused other countries’widespread interest, and its successful experience became the hot spot to learn for many countries. The movement has provided a good study opportunity and a good rural economy pattern. We should learn their successful experience to infuse the new vigor for our rural economy’s development.At present, China will be at the socialism initial stage for a long time. Therefore, developing economy, especially rural economy, will be the important task for our country. It is an important way for rural areas where mnpower and resources are relatively scattered to develop agricultural economic model taking "One Village One Product" as the representative. It can not only enrich people’s material life but also avoid the division of labor in the global homogenization of China’s agricultural products to compete, to avoid homogeneous competition and internal extension of the vicious results. In the "One Village One Product" economic model, processing of agricultural products are gradually transforming from the general agricultural products’industrial and large-scale processing to the processing of aricultural products with special characteristics and marketing pattern. In scale, market-oriented agricultural products processing, features of the product are attracting more and more attention in the market.Through the on-the-spot investigation in villages of Wuxi area and related leadership’s investigation interviews, this article elaborates and studies "One village one product movement" in Wuxi area, and summarizes its deficiency. Based on this, through the data statistics, the analysis reason, and unifies the domestic and foreign village state of play, unifies the history, the culture and the natural resource of the Wuxi area, the article proposed development suggestion which suits villages of Wuxi area, at the same time, make some thoughts on the significance of promotion and reference of the "One Village One Product" model in Agricultural product processing industry in the Yangtze River Delta region.
