The farmers’ specialized cooperatives is a mutual economic organization whichis based on rural household contract operations. As leaders of special form ofeconomic organization, chairmen of the farmers’ specialized cooperatives playeddecisive role in the growth and development whose competency was most important.To promote the development and increase of farmers’ specialized cooperatives, a goodnumber of chairmen of farmers’ specialized cooperatives good competence were. needto train and bring up.The competency model of farmers’ specialized cooperatives hasbeen simply built, and never discussed the relationship between the model andperformance of farmers’ specialized cooperatives.Using the Delphi method, exchanging views with15experts, the authoridentified the12competence characteristics, then made a questionnaire. The orderly probability regression method,characteristics of cooperatives of competency factors and made empirical analysis on the relationship between the organization performance.
