The Study Of Innovative Dynamic Capability In High-Tech Industry

Under the background of knowledge economy, high-tech industry has become the main backbone of the nation’s economic growth, and innovation has become the core driving force of high-tech enterprises’ development. However, most of high-tech enterprises have problems such as low innovative efficiency, poor market response capability and so on. Therefore, studying how enterprises use internal and external resources to do innovative activities in the environment with dynamic changes in order to achieve the overall continued ascension in business performance and growth in export has important and practical significance.This paper combines innovation theory with dynamic capability theory, puts forward the concept of innovative dynamic capability and uses large and medium-sized enterprises in China’s high-tech industry panel data from1996to2011to analyze the current situation and function of innovative dynamic capability based on three-dimensional dynamic measurement framework through three stages. First, use DEA method to analyze pure technical efficiency, scale efficiency and allocative efficiency. Second, apply different data model of before and after efficiency optimization to analyze and compare the innovative dynamic ability’s weaken impact to the external environment. Finally, compare the difference in innovative dynamic capability between industries and utilize fixed-effect variable coefficient model to discuss the effect of innovative dynamic ability to export.The research results show that large and medium-sized enterprises in high-tech industry whose pure technical efficiency has increased gradually are of unreasonable innovation investment scale and resource distribution. The large enterprises’ average pure technical efficiency is higher than that of medium-sized enterprises, but scale efficiency and allocative efficiency are generally low. Innovative dynamic capability is influenced by enterprise’s internal and external resources, and harmful impact from external environment will be weakened by optimized innovative dynamic ability. There are differences between different high-tech industries’ innovative dynamic ability, and the ability’s volatility in electronic related industry is larger, but the optimized innovative dynamic ability of different high-tech industries can all maintain relatively stable growth trend. Innovative dynamic ability also has a positive promoting impact on export. Because of large-scale processing trade, electronic related industry’s original innovative dynamic ability has no significant effect on exports. However, the optimized innovative dynamic capability will markedly enhance its role to the promotion of exports.
