Research On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Rural Social Pension Insurance In Yiliang County, Yunnan Province

Aging of population is a common social issue in the world of today. China has entered into the agingsociety, and become a country with the largest old population in the world, owing to its largestpopulation base. In China, aging of population in rural areas goes much quickly than the urban, withincreasingly serious problems. Thus the rural social pension insurance has come into being and plays animportant role to settle the problem.In this study, the rural social pension insurance in Yiliang County, Yunnan Province is targeted toconduct the study through two lines. One line is to collect extensively the recent studies of domestic andforeign scholars on the pension issues, take the positive theory, problem analysis and conclusionsthrough systematic analysis. The second line is to collect first-hand data through field investigation inYiliang County, Yunnan Province, through careful and meticulous analysis of the data than the right,come in Yiliang County is currently carried out rural social pension insurance process problems: First,the rural collective investment insufficient emphasis on farmer payment burden; second is moredifficult to increase the value of pension fund investments narrow channel; Third handling personnelcapabilities, financial services and information systems support capability weak construction is laggingbehind; fourth is the low level of old-age insurance, some insurance enthusiasm is not high; five isconstrained by the traditional concept of retirement; six new agricultural insurance and other securitysystem convergence difficulties.
