Then on the domestic research on birth insurance situation were summarized, and the United States, Germany, Canada and other countries of birth insurance situation were summarized, on the research idea is also made in this paper, the author to birth insurance implementation in Yunnan province as the research object of pertinence, from the perspective of combining theory and practice, based on the analysis of Yunnan province on the basis of the implementation of birth insurance, maternity insurance in Yunnan province the problems existing in the implementation process and the main reasons for the problems are analyzed, in order to the improvement of the maternity insurance system and the sustainable development of Yunnan province to make recommendations.First chapter is the introduction part, introduced the thesis research background, significance, the domestic and foreign research review, research ideas and methods. The third chapter introduces the evolution and development of birth insurance system in our country, and maternity insurance system development course and the present situation of Yunnan province. The fourth chapter through a lot of data analysis points out the existing problems of birth insurance in Yunnan province, finally from continued to expand the birth insurance coverage, the promotion and development of commercial insurance and improve the information system, speed up the organization of agency of network information construction, strengthen the team construction, enhance the service level of management, intensify propaganda of birth insurance in Yunnan province from the aspects such as guiding opinions were put forward for the reform and development of the way.
