The rapid development of the retail market has also brought new problems. Homogenization ofcompetition so that more and more retailers into a quagmire of weak growth, especially in the traditionalretail formats is facing considerable impact. The early days to the present, China has gone from departmentstores to fall into the bottleneck of the brilliant difficult situation. Hypermarket format extrusion,large-scale expansion of foreign retailers, the financial crisis hit, and continued rise of online shopping,which makes the modern department store scarred. Associated mode especially after the rise of thedepartment store industry, Chinese department stores operate independently of the figure is almost gone.Our industry is in a department store operators turning point in the chain continued to expand, integrateacquisitions, the organization listed on the conversion business model to explore the road, but it can not bedone sharply, completely solve the existence of the department store industry ills. Today, China’s largedepartment store chain enterprises realize business model change and innovation is imperative, who can bethe first step, will gain a firm foothold in the wave of reform.In the new form, Liqun Group also encountered the same problem. In this paper, a method toinvestigate and inquire literature, describes the concept of the department store business model; usingqualitative analysis methods to identify the theoretical basis and rationale for the study, compared theadvantages and disadvantages of self-associate model patterns; method of quantitative analysis LiqunGroup revenue compared contrast mode and self-associate model; through research combining theoreticaland empirical research, summed up in three ways self-mode operation.This paper describes the operating status of the department store industry Liqun Group-Associatesbased, self supplement.
