Study On The Industrial Structure Optimization Of The Central Plains Urban Agglomeration

The development of the regional industrial structure concerns the overall situation ofeconomic and social development in China. In recent years, due to the continuousdevelopment of China’s urbanization, the development system of urban agglomerationconstantly improves. Urban agglomeration has been an important engine in enhancingregional competitiveness and driving the development of regional economy. Industrialstructure problem is always the focus of changing the economic development mode in thenew period. The problem of urban industrial structure will be the important content ofinspecting the regional economy.The central plains urban agglomeration located in the middle of Henan, has rich naturalresources and human resources. It has good development potential in the central region,which has certain economic base preliminary. The central plains urban agglomeration has adecade of growth, But due to historical development, the industrial structure adjustmentprocess of the central plains urban is relatively slow. It is capacity-constrained to improve theeconomy of Henan and the central region. In order to enhance the subject status of the centralplains urban agglomeration in the new period, play the radiating and driving ability of thecentral plains urban agglomeration, the article studies the industrial structure of the centralplains urban agglomeration problems from the perspective of industrial structure optimization.By analyzing the industrial competitiveness and industrial structure evolution of the centralplains urban agglomeration, it put forward countermeasures suitable for the industrialstructure optimization of the central plains urban agglomeration.This paper includes seven contents:The first chapter, introduction. It introduces the research background, researchsignificance, the related concept, research contents and framework, research methods,innovations and shortcomings.The second chapter, the general theory of regional industrial structure optimization. Thispaper discusses the theory of evolution of industrial structure, industrial structure optimizationtheory and the theory of regional industrial structure optimization. Industrial structureoptimization theory includes dual economic model, the theory of unbalanced growth, leadingindustry theory, two benchmark theory. Regional industrial structure optimization theorymainly includes: industry layout of location theory, comparative advantage theory ofindustrial layout, equilibrium and non-equilibrium theory and growth pole theory.The third chapter, the competitiveness analysis of the central plains urban agglomerationindustry. It has carried on the comprehensive analysis for the industrial competitiveness ofcentral plains urban agglomeration by factor analysis, measuring the comprehensivecompetitiveness for32industries, finding that the comparative advantage industries are the traditional primary industry, such as food manufacturing, non-ferrous metals. The level ofindustrial structure is low, with little technology, the industrial chain need to be extendedfurther.The fourth chapter, the analysis of development situation and problems of industrialstructure in the central plains urban agglomeration. It expounds the formation anddevelopment of the central plains urban agglomeration, and studies industrial structure byproduction value structure, employment structure, height index, level of industrial structure,industrial structure similarity coefficient and rate of urbanization. The study finding thatindustrial structure level of the central plains urban agglomeration is low. The similarindustrial structure problem is serious, and the urbanization rate remains to be improved.The fifth chapter, the research on the operation mechanism of the central plains urbanagglomeration. It chooses the division mechanism, cooperation mechanism andagglomeration mechanism as the research object, analyzing the important influence onpromoting industrial structure optimization by game model.The sixth chapter, suggestion of optimizing the industry structure of the central plainsurban agglomeration. On the basis of above analysis, it put forward industry structureoptimization measures such as accelerating the process of the central plains urbanagglomeration integration, developing of new and high-tech industries, promoting theagglomeration and urbanization.The seventh chapter, conclusion and prospect. it expounds The research results, andprospecting the further research on industrial structure optimization of the central plainsurban agglomeration.
