As a world widely popular pursuit of high flexibility production management solutions,Lean Production was proved it’s significant effects in improve the quality of products, reducecost by numerous enterprises of the word. However, Lean Production as a kind of advancedproduction organization and business management philosophy, How to design Leanmanagement mode which is more appropriate for more types of products, high shortage cost,changing customer needs bicycle manufacturing enterprises has become an urgently subjectfor practitioners.First of all, this paper Pointed out that the paper research background and significance.Asmeanwhile, make a review of the Lean Production theory in the second chapter, introducedthe history as well as the present research of Lean Production.And compared Lean Productionwith the Ford mode production. Then pointed out that the Lean Production was relied ondivision of labor to reduce costs, on the other hand, it avoided Ford mode’s weak adaptabilityin the face of changing market. And then cleared that the birth of the Lean Production what isa profound revolution in manufacturing mode. The third chapter introduced the currentsituation of bicycle industry and the future trend of development. Analysis the demand of LeanProduction from the society, company and customer, then demonstrated the necessity ofimplementing Lean Production mode in the bicycle manufacturing enterprises.According tothe industry characteristics of bicycle production enterprises, combined with the LeanProduction theory, design Lean production system from of culture construction, enterpriseorganizational structure, applications of lean tools and so on. Considered culture construction,enterprise organizational structure, Lean Production tools, discussed the advantages anddisadvantages of several mainstream production layout in manufacturing enterprises of thebicycle. In the case study, Took K company as example, used Value Stream Mapping andother lean tools to analysis enterprise present problems, According to the existing problems,used lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping to analyzed the enterprise present problem, And introduced the successful application of Lean Production in K company from theorganizational structure,5S management, production stability design, the bottleneck sectioncapacity, suppliers and materials management and so on. Finally, Summed up and summarizedthe application effect of Lean Production.
