Application On Production Management Methods Of Combinaction ERP With Lean In S Company

With the development of mass production mode, management science has been developing as well. Especially, with the application of computer technology, management science is experiencing rapid development. ERP is one outcome of the developing management science. From 1970's, ERP, which based on MRPⅠand MRPⅡ, developed from the original time schedule to a planning system which combined all departments together. The core idea of the system is to manage the demand and supply system of company effectively. ERP has achieved great benefits while ERP system also leads to low efficiency, high cost and the data cannot be updated on time due to the weakness of the system, especially the pushing planning method. Another management science is lean production which is also from 1970's. the main concepts of lean is to reduce all kinds of waste, cost and resources which occupied by company. The situation of S company is analysised in this paper, the management science of ERP and lean is analysised in this paper as well and a combination system of ERP and lean is designed and implemented in S company successfully. It is worth to use this experience for the other companies which have the similar processes.
