With the development of times, the public scientific literacy is based on technological innovation. Now public scientific literacy is increasingly becoming the focus of national competition. The practice became deeper and deeper. People have been deeply aware that the importance and urgency of increasing public scientific literacy. In particular, Public scientific literacy is important to the development of national sustainable and social security. In order to improve the public scientific literacy, the evaluation of scientific literacy is necessary.The research take the methods of theoretical and empirical research. In the part of theoretical study, we discussed the scientific literacy and the evaluation of China scientific literacy; In the part of empirical study, we take mixed way the combine the quantitative and qualitative method. Through the research and analysis of the public scientific literacy of Zhejiang Province. We propose an reasonable evaluation. The paper argues that, the results of the survey, the level of national public scientific literacy was lower than Zhejiang Province. There are some problems in the dissemination of science process. Therefore, we take out some constructive reference.
